Massage Clinic Vs. Massage Parlor
I have a great deal of respect for the medical community, which by definition includes any therapy that allows a person to lead a healthy life. Massage therapy is one of the complementary therapies that thousands of people use on a regular basis to relieve stress and reduce muscle pain. Massage therapists can be found in clinics, often paired with chiropractic services so a patient can get both muscle and joint therapy at the same location.

Massage parlors work on the grey side of the law, initially offering hands on massage, but the massage in these locations can extend to a sexual massage resulting in relief of sexual tension for the client. It is on the grey side of the law because a client will pay a small fee for the massage, but may negotiate a 'tip' for the masseuse for sexual favours. Since the exchange of money for sexual favors between two consenting adults is not illegal in Canada, and a long as the tip negotiation takes place in private, there is no law that can be enforced to stop such action.

Pride This is an occupation where you have no problem explaining EVERYTHING you do to your grandmother. This is an occupation where you might pretend to be a massage therapist, or skip over the sex trade part of your job, when you try to explain what you do to your grandmother.
